[STARCAST] How idols play on the New Year’s Day! GOT7’s ‘Human Yut Game’
Hello, STARCAST families, happy New Year! This is GOT7.
It has been a long time since we said hello last time. We would like to greet in order to get together with IGOT7. We prepared special news for you guys who would wait for us even on the New Year’s Day.
Do you all know that GOT7 gave up their supernatural power which they got in ‘Dream Knight’ (Do you all know this? Don’t you?) and became ‘human marbles.’
Marbles? What marbles? You would’ve guessed in the moment!
You could. We understand. But this week we have the New Year’s Day.
It is just the marbles that comes to mind first when New Year’s Day is thought about. They became the Do, Gae, Gul, Yut and Mo in the Yut Game, which is a Korean traditional board game.
Isn’t common Yut Game boring since we are ‘GOT7’?
The most fantastic team missions and penalties that happened in the JYP training center!
We would like to share these pleasant moments with you, IGOT7.
There was a member that was found to be the god of the Yut Game among ‘GOT7’ members that are mysterious as their faces. Especially, ‘Yugyeom’ was really the god of the Yut Game.
Do you want to know what happened? We want to show you so eagerly that our heart started to beat fast.
So from now on, we will show you that fierce and hot moments of the game.

Let me explain the game rule. If two Yuts fall out from the square, it is ‘failure’.
Does it look a bit tight? But it can’t be helped~ because that’s more exciting.
The team was divided into the older (Jr., Jackson, Mark) and the younger (BamBam, Youngjae, Yugyeom).
The judge was JB.

The penalties were being slapped in the forehead, push-up, finger-flick, slapped on the bottom, making bizarre face and buying ice creams.
These spectacular penalties were all decided by the members.

The first player was BamBam!
JB: As the judge’s discretion, I would give an extra score for the artistic movement.
Listening to what the judge said, BamBam tried to throw the Yuts from between his legs.

He wished judge JB’s art score, but the judge could not help it.

The judge JB also made this look… It is sad to miss that.

No need for the art score. He warmed up his body in calm and concise posture.
But his whole body already felt the awkward feeling of penalty, wishing, ‘please, not Gae’.
Jr.: I feel like Gae would come out…
As the younger team cheered and Jr. said, it was Gae!

JB is also awarding the penalty with the judge’s discretion.

Jr.: You are holding me tight, Youngjae. Aren’t you?
Youngjae: Yes! Jr. (Youngjae is trembling with him)
BamBam’s excited face looks like a mischievous boy.

Then his Yut fell on the same place with BamBam. Thinking deeply whether to carry him on his back or not, Youngjae decided to carry him on his back!

On this day, BamBam and Youngjae carried each other on the back taking turns.
The younger team looked really good and lovely, especially when the members cared for each other.

Jackson, who prepared a chair for the art score, is threw the Yuts feeling the wind.
Jackson: Now I will throw!
If he throws the Yut from that high, he would fail, but he dedicated for the art score.

However it seems that he is thinking more about which pose to take next rather than throwing the Yuts well.

He was called the god of Yut, because he threw ‘Mo’ more than 3 times on this day.
Either throwing from the back or side, even without the soul, once he threw, it was Mo! Yut!

This day, whenever Jackson of the older team threw, either ‘failure’ or penalties were waiting for him.
This time the penalty was ‘Being slapped on the hips’. The members moved faster.

Jackson pleased not only the younger members but older ones.
Needless to say, Jackson was photogenic today.

Yut Game was really thrilling. The younger team was definitely better than the older in the game, but why are they doing like that?
Is the younger team making a tower of 3 stories? Or is it just the trick for fun?
GOT7’s story of the Yut Game played by GOT7 which was full of fun is so many that we cannot show you everything only with these photos.
